The DC Commission for Women has joined the National Council of Women's Organizations to celebrate 'One Billion Rising DC' with a FLASHMOB dance to kick-off the rally and dance party!...  Join us as we RISE UP in opposition to gender-based violence, dance and celebrate in defiance of its oppressive impact, and show our collective strength.  

To dance in the flashmob, sign up on this site then go to women.dc.gov for  a link to the instructional video.  Show up at the stage in Farragut Square at 11:30am on Valentine's Day for a quick practice and a free t-shirt... then dance and enjoy the event!
