Liberia. RISE! (Start a Rising)

Calling on all women's advocates (men and women, girls and boys!) to rally on Feb 14 to show that Liberia commits to ending violence against women and girls.

Join the 5K walk / run to end violence, starting at 9 am at Musu's Spot and ending at SKD Stadium.  Be sure to gather pledges for your participation with all proceeds going towards the Liberia Survivors Fund.

Starting at 9:30 am, we'll gather in theSKD gymnasium for a solidarity dance party with music and entertainment by some of Liberia's top performers.  This is your chance to learn and practice the dance moves to the "Break the Chain" theme song.

Finally, we'll move outside SKD to the parking lot by ELWA highway for the Liberia. RISE! finale -  listening to Liberian men reciting the man prayer, rallying to stand in solidarity, flash mobbing to "Break the Chain", and rising to end violence against women and girls.

1BillionRising Liberia souvenirs will be on sale with proceeds benefitting the Liberia Survivors Fund.
