Back Alley Productions, along with Sexual Assault Support Services (SASS), A Safe Place, and the University of New Hampshire's Sexual Harassment and Rape Prevention Program (SHARPP) invite you to join the NH Seacoast Rising event!
One Billion Rising, a worldwide day of action, is a part of V-Day, the global campaign to bring an end to violence against women and girls. To celebrate the 15th anniversary of V-Day on February 14, 2013, we invite you to attend NH Seacoast Rising to unite with women, men and youth from our Seacoast communities and around the globe as they rise and speak out against sexual and domestic violence that affects millions of women and girls worldwide. This event will feature an open house with local agencies committed to ending interpersonal violence, a survivor or anti-violence t-shirt clothesline project, artwork on display, youth performances and open-mic style adult performances.
The event will be hosted at the Rochester Community Center in the Community Room from 5 pm - 8 pm.
Event Schedule: 5:00-5:30 Open House, clothesline, art display,
refreshments (will be available throughout
the evening)
5:30-6:30 Youth Performances
6:30-8:00 Adult Performances
