About The Event

Research-Intellectual Club "Dialogue of Generations" (RICDOG) is organizing a "One Billion Rising Revolution" event in Kutaisi. This is part of a worldwide initiative, with various events held around the world on February 14th, 2016. "One Billion Rising Revolution" is a global campaign that calls on all people to unite and express their anger towards violence against women. Last year the event took place in 200 cities, where women, men and youth all united and danced together. Research-Intellectual Club "Dialogue of Generations" (RICDOG)

RICDOG is an unconventional NGO with wide community reach in the Imereti region of Georgia dedicated to improving intergenerational cooperation toward promotion of democracy, science, youth development, environmental awareness, and culture. More than 2,500 youth have been beneficiaries in RICDOG activities since its inception in 2005.
RICDOG is a membership-based organization in which official members design, facilitate, and manage clubs, programs, and activities for both themselves and outside beneficiaries. RICDOG’s slogan is to “Be Active – Everywhere and Always.” To meet its mission, RICDOG focuses on using non-formal and innovative educational techniques in all of its activities.
