Justice should be a network from which a woman can land, when she has fallen victim. Justice is a woman walking in to a police station after she has been sexually assaulted, without the officer saying, “Don’t waste my time.” Justice the ability to receive care and guidance so desperately needed after trauma. Justice says, “we haven’t forgotten about you,” when a woman feels all alone in the world. Real justice doesn’t stop in the courtroom, it transcends limitation and evolves our society.
