About The Event
“Dancing insists we take up space, and though it has no set direction, we go there together. Dance is dangerous, joyous, sexual, holy, disruptive, and contagious and it breaks the rules. It can happen anywhere, at anytime, with anyone and everyone, and it’s free. Dance joins us and pushes us to go further and that is why it’s at the center of ONE BILLION RISING” – Eve Ensler
Come to The Connection as we join together with the globe on February 14th to participate in the One Billion Rising Dance Flash Mob!
Come on out and dance with other powerful women and men in the community as we dance together to support those who have been affected by domestic violence.
Now is the time we stand together solidarity and break the chain of abuse!
Together we can make a difference!
Pooki Lee is choreographing the dance for this event!
Look for the video on the Facebook event page to learn the dance moves!!!
We would love it if you would come on out to The Connection to dance on Wednesday, February 14th in this annual historic event. We will open the doors at noon and kick off the Dance Mob at 1pm CST.
Come early at noon if you would like to refresh on the moves before we go live at 1pm!!!
